Koudelka Shooting the Holy Land

Koudelka Shooting the Holy Land is an exploration of the work of Czech photographer Josef Koudelka, filmed by his assistant Gilad Baram in Israel and Palestine. The creative process of one of the greatest living photographers is revealed through the unique relationship between master and apprentice. The film also serves as a journey into his world—a world that began with the 1968 invasion of Prague by Russian tanks and his portraits of the Roma people.
