I comme Illettré
Illiteracy affects more than three million people in France. How does one live day-to-day with what many consider a disability?
Jean-Claude, a pioneer in the organic food industry, successfully founded several businesses in France and abroad without knowing how to read or write. Alain, a father of seven, works as a mason and crane operator; he has always managed well thanks to the help of those around him.
In a documentary paying tribute to her illiterate father, the director portrays the complex realities of today's society.
